Mosquito trucks are out overnight this week

Plus splash pad hours and the Gators' Friday home game.

Here's what changed in Palm Beach Gardens and what's on the calendar this week.

The big story

Public Works is spraying for mosquitoes across Palm Beach Gardens during the week of August 31. The work is citywide. Crews run overnight, between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m.

The work is weather permitting. Rain or wind can change the schedule from one night to the next.

Two Public Works contacts are available for questions. Daniel Widdick can be reached at 561-804-7044. Theresa Blankenship can be reached at 561-804-7034.
